AS and A-Level Computer Science 9618 Paper Pattern:
From 2021 the syllabus is changed and the paper pattern is also changed. The new code of the syllabus is 9618. The new syllabus also includes practical papers.
This subject has 4 papers:
- Paper 1: Theory Fundamentals paper with a duration of 1.5 hours.
- Paper 2: Fundamental Problem-solving and Programming Skills with a duration of 2 hours.
- Paper 3: Advanced Theory with a duration of 1.5 hours.
- Paper 4: Practical with a duration of 2.5 hours.
Students with the AS certification will appear in Paper 1 and 2 in a single examination series. students who have received AS certification will continue to appear in Paper 3 and Paper 4. OR Students can appear in all 4 papers in a single attempt for A-Level Certificate.
